Leaving my child each day is never easy. No matter how many times I do it, there’s always that small ache in my chest as I walk out the door. But you’ve made that ache softer. You’ve made it manageable. You’ve made it okay.
Because of you, I don’t spend my day wondering if my child feels safe, comforted, or loved — I know they do. I know they’re being held when they need it, laughed with during the silly moments, and cared for with the same gentleness I would give myself. That kind of trust is everything to a parent.
You don’t just watch my child — you truly see them. You notice their little moods, celebrate their tiny wins, and offer comfort before the tears even fully fall. You’ve become part of their world, and in turn, part of ours.
