Spooky Scary Tantrum Phase

Spooky Scary Tantrum Phase

Every day is a new episode of The Exorcist: Snack Time Edition. Yesterday, my child screamed for seven full minutes because his toast had a corner. The horror. I half expected ghostly whispers chanting, “Cut it diagonally… cut it diagonally…”

There’s spilled milk on the floor, crayon hieroglyphics on the wall, and me — the exhausted mom witch — clutching my coffee like it’s a magic potion that might keep me alive till bedtime.

But just when I’m ready to list him on eBay (kidding… mostly), he flashes that gummy smile and says, “Mama, hug?”
And boom — spell broken. I melt faster than a chocolate bar in a jack-o’-lantern.

So yes, the tantrum phase is scary. But it’s also full of laughter, love, and moments so sweet they almost make me forget the chaos. Almost.
